AICTE Academic Calendar 2021-22: According to the academic calendar, the last date to grant approval to technical institutions, standalone PGDM/PGCM institutions, and institutes offering ODL/ Online Courses is June 30, 2021.

AICTE Academic Calendar 2021-22: The All India Council Of Technical Education (AICTE) has released the academic calendar for the 2021-22 session on its official website. Students can check the AICTE academic calendar 2021 online at aicte-india.org. 

According to the academic calendar, the last date to grant approval to technical institutions, standalone PGDM/PGCM institutions, and institutes offering ODL/ Online Courses is June 30, 2021. The council will grant affiliation by Universities to technical institutions by July 15. The first round of counseling or admissions for the allotment of seats will end on August 31, 2021. The classes for existing students of technical courses are scheduled to commence on September 1, 2021. However, the classes for the fresh batch of students of technical courses will begin on September 15, 2021.

The classes for existing and fresh students in Standalone PGDM/PGCM institutes will commence on July 1, 2021. "Last date for Cancellation of Admission to Courses in PGDM/PGCM institutions including full refund is July 5, 2021," reads the official notification. In view of the covid-19 pandemic, the council urges technical institutions to follow the AICTE/UGC guidelines regarding the conduct of the examination. 

"The classes may be started in online or offline or blended mode (online + offline) following the prescribed protocols or guidelines related to the pandemic," further reads the notice. 

Recently on Thursday, the University Grants Commission (UGC) informed all the varsities not to conduct offline exams in May 2021 due to the pandemic.
