Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Janakpuri Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Janakpuri Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Janakpuri Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Janakpuri assembly constituency are Janak Puri South, Mahaveer Enclave, Janak Puri West.

1. Janak Puri South: In the Janakpuri Delhi assembly constituency, Janak Puri South is ward number one hundred-and-four in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 80,061. The Janak Puri South (Ward 104) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Mahaveer Enclave: In the Janakpuri Delhi assembly constituency, Mahaveer Enclave is ward number one hundred-and-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 70,924. The Mahaveer Enclave (Ward 105) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Janak Puri West: In the Janakpuri Delhi assembly constituency, Janak Puri West is ward number one hundred-and-six in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 69,625. The Janak Puri West (Ward 106) MCD seat is reserved for women.
