'Will Cut You Into Pieces And Seal In A Drum': UP Woman Threatens Alcoholic Husband
The confrontation reportedly escalated on Sunday night when Kumar returned home intoxicated, triggering a heated argument during which his wife allegedly bit his hand.

A man in Uttar Pradesh's Kanker Khera has accused his wife of threatening to dismember him and seal the body in a drum the way a woman did in Meerut.
Media reports stated that the husband, an alleged habitual drinker, became the target of his wife’s rage following a row over his alcohol consumption.
A video posted online shows the victim, Bablu Kumar, recounting the incident. He said, "I woke up late in the morning, and my wife threatened to hit me with a brick. She then threw it at me, striking my head and causing an injury.” The man further alleged that she warned she would "cut me into pieces and seal me in a drum."
Local police said the altercation follows a pattern of frequent disputes between the couple, who have been married for five years and are parents to two children.
The confrontation reportedly escalated on Sunday night when Kumar returned home intoxicated, triggering a heated argument during which his wife allegedly bit his hand. The following morning, she struck him on the head with a brick, leaving him injured. Accompanied by his father, Kumar later visited the police station with visible wounds.
SHO Kanker Khera, Vinay Kumar, confirmed that Bablu Kumar underwent a medical examination. However, he ultimately chose not to press charges and left the station after reaching a mutual agreement with his wife.
The incident took place days after the murder of a merchant navy employee, Saurabh Rajput, by his wife Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Sukla. The body had been cut up and hidden in a drum, which was covered with cement.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident, which has raised concerns amid a backdrop of recent high-profile cases in the region that have similarly spotlighted domestic violence and escalating tensions in households affected by alcohol abuse.
