When Will Saif Ali Khan Be Discharged? Lilavati Hospital Doctor Shares Health Update About Actor

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an unidentified person at his Bandra home. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery. He is now out of danger.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who suffered six stabs after being attacked by an unidentified person at his Bandra home on Thursday, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent surgery. As per the details, after the operation, the doctors have removed a 2.5 inch long knife from the actor's spine.

Saif Ali Khan, who is popuarly known as 'Chote Nawab' suffered severe injuries in the attack by the thief. The actor was bleeding from many parts of his body when he was admitted to the hospital. The surgery to remove the knife took about two and a half hours. Currently, Saif Ali Khan is now said to be out of danger. 

While speaking to ABP News, Dr. Nitin N Dange, surgeon of Lilavati Hospital, said that the two and a half inch sharp tip of the knife had broken inside and penetrated deep into the actor's skin. He added that Saif Ali Khan is now fully conscious and, he is doing well. There is no paralysis and there is no permanent damage, the doctor said.

While talking to the press, Dr. Neeraj Utmani, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Lilavati Hospital, said that Saif Ali Khan has been shifted to the ICU ward and he will be kept under observation for a day.

He added that as per his initial understanding, the actor will fully recover. Providing details about the injuries Saif Ali Khan sustained in the attack, Dr. Utmani said that the actor had two deep wounds, two intermediate and two scratches. He also said that the actor can be discharged from the hospital on Friday.

As per the information, the hospital, where Saif Ali Khan is seeking medical treatment, will again share an update on the actor's health on Friday.

Yesterday, Maharashtra government minister Ashish Shelar visited Lilavati Hospital and met Saif Ali Khan in the hospital. 

While talking to the reporters, he said that the actor has suffered six knife wounds in the deadly attack and underwent a five-hour surgery. The BJP MLA from Bandra West added, "Saif needs rest. We must ensure that the family recovers from the trauma and shock. It is inappropriate to politicise this incident."

After opposition leaders voiced concerns about the on law and order in Maharashtra, following the attack on Saif Ali Khan, the MLA said, "I want to make it clear that this is a serious incident. It requires effective investigation."

He further added, "Being a local MLA, I want the law and order here to be good. Our government will ensure that Mumbai's identity as a safe city remains. CM Devendra Fadnavis has given clear instructions that the culprit will not be spared under any circumstances."
