'LoP Has Gone Mad': TMC Lashes Out At Suvendu Adhikari Over Comment On Muslim MLAs

West Bengal's Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari's controversial statement about throwing out Muslim MLAs from the assembly has sparked criticism from the ruling TMC party.

The Leader of Opposition Party in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari's is facing flak from the TMC leaders over his comment to throw out the Muslim MLAs of TMC out of assembly after his party forms the next government in the state.

Yesterday, the BJP leader said,"We will defeat Mamata Banerjee and when the BJP government comes, we will throw out the Muslim MLAs of her party from here."

Speaking on Suvendu's comment, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said, "Unfortunately, the LoP has gone mad, because BJP has been rejected by the people of Bengal in elections after the elections. Once they had 77 MLAs, it is reducing, they are joining the TMC over development politics. Hence, he has become confused, depressed, and giving communal statements, this is wrong, and it is a offence. There should not be such comments in a secular country."

TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee also reacted to Suvendu's comment and said, "He has a habit of dreaming, let him dream. Is it right to do Hindu-Muslim like this in the country? If BJP hates Muslims so much, then they should expel all Muslims from the country and also remove Muslims from the voter list... They are the leaders of the country, can they say this? They have no culture and education. They only say Jai Shri Ram...they are mafia ..."

On Suvendu's statement, BJP MP and West Bengal BJP vice president Jagannath Sarkar said that they will win, and Mamata Banerjee will lose because 'she is working against the country'.

What West Bengal Minister Said?

West Bengal Minister Firhad Hakim also took a potshot at Suvendu's comment and said that BJP will be wiped out from the state. He said, "BJP is a party of hooligans. No one can defeat us. BJP will be wiped out from West Bengal. They only do politics of dividing...."
