The Hyderabad Police has issued a notice to BJP MLA T Raja Singh, urging him to use the bullet-proof vehicle and security personnel provided by the government as part of routine security measures.
Singh, the representative of the Goshamahal Constituency, received the notice on March 19 from the Mangalhat Police Station. A police official said Singh had acknowledged the notice.
Security Reminder
The notice instructs the legislator to use the bullet-proof vehicle and the (1+4) security detail assigned to him, as he has occasionally been seen in public without the required protection. "It is to alert that, you have been receiving frequent threatening calls and it is noticed that you are often leaving residence and office without any security personnel and moving among the public, which shows negligence towards your life and security," the notice read.
Police described the reminder as a routine alert to ensure his safety.
