Shri Ram Lalla Mahabhishek Performed At Ayodhya Temple On First Anniversary Of Consecration Ceremony: Watch

On the occasion of the first anniversary of 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) of Ram Lalla at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Shri Ram Lalla Mahabhishek was performed at the temple.

The devotees of Shri Ram Lalla were seen queued to get a glimpse of the auspicious occasion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm wishes to the nation on the first anniversary of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the temple in Ayodhya. He said, "Ram Mandir is a great heritage of India’s culture and spirituality, built through centuries of penance and struggle."

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) PM Modi posted, "Best wishes to all the countrymen on the first anniversary of the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. This temple, built after centuries of sacrifice, penance and struggle, is a great heritage of our culture and spirituality. I am confident that this divine and magnificent Ram temple will become a great inspiration in the accomplishment of the resolution of a developed India."

The three-day festival will begin in Ayodhya from today to mark the first anniversary of Pran Pratistha.

This year, the ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi Utsav’ falls on January 11. The festivities will start with cultural programmes with performances by music, art and literature figures, as reported by The Indian Express.

In order to manage the huge rush for the event, all types of passes for the temple vist have been suspended.

In a grand ceremony, Shri Ram Lalla was ceremoniously placed in the temple on January 22 last year.
