Retd Policeman Caught On Cam Crushing Puppy Under Car, Waits With Tyre On Pup's Head

A car driver in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, ran over a small puppy. The incident was captured on video and has gone viral on social media.

Bulandshahr news: A case of animal cruelty has come to light from the Ganganagar area of Kotwali Dehat area in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. A retired policeman from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh has been booked for allegedly deliberately crushing a puppy under his car. The act was caught on a CCTV camera.

In the viral video, the person in the car crushes the puppy sleeping on the road outside his house. The accused then backs up the car and crushes the puppy again. This time he waits till the puppy's cries are silenced and it dies an agonising death.

The video of the incident was captured on the CCTV camera of a house nearby.

After the CCTV video went viral, people on social media started demanding legal action against the accused. Some X users tagged the police, demanding action. Taking cognizance of the viral video, the police booked the accused.

Bulandshahr ASP Rijul said: "In the video, a car is seen being driven over a small puppy. Taking immediate cognizance of the matter, the person was taken into custody. During our investigation, it was found that the accused is a retired police officer. An FIR has been registered in the matter and more evidence is being collected. Further legal action will be taken based on our findings.
