Police Officer Slaps Army Colonel In Public After Road Dispute In Lucknow — Caught On Cam

In Lucknow, a police inspector slapped an Army colonel after a traffic dispute. The inspector drove on the wrong side, leading to a confrontation. The colonel, with his family, was assaulted after questioning the officer.

In a shocking incident in Lucknow, a senior police officer was seen slapping an Army colonel in front of his wife and a daughter on a bus street. According to media reports, the altercation began when Inspector Vinay Kumar Saroj was spotted driving on the wrong side of the road.

Colonel Anand Prakash Suman, who was approaching from the correct direction, confronted the officer about his reckless driving. The inspector, in response, allegedly stepped out of his vehicle and slapped the Army officer in full public view.

The video has now circulated widely on social media, showing a white car driven by the inspector and trying to force its way through the oncoming traffic at an intersection. A heated argument followed between the two men, and moments later, the inspector got out of his car and assaulted the colonel.

According to News18, quoting reports, the Army officer filed a complaint against the inspector a day after the incident occurred. The colonel said that he was assaulted in front of his wife and children and claimed that he was assaulted when he questioned him about driving the vehicle on the wrong side. He also alleged that the accused tried to crush him between both the vehicles and ran over his left foot. 

Meanwhile, as the incident has gone viral on social media platforms, users have shown their anger at the incident. “This needs immediate dismissal from service. Upholder of law is a violator, and punishing a guy who is trying to correct him." Another one wrote, “Please take strict action against such police personnel. It is the high-handedness of police personnel as if they can do whatever they want on the road. Challan should also be issued to him," an X user was quoted by News18.
