PM Modi Flags Off Patna-Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Train: Know Route, Timings And Fare
Modi also flagged off the first locomotive built in Marhowrah for export to Guinea. The Vande Bharat Express will connect key cities with varying fares for Executive and Chair Car classes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday flaged off Vande Bharat Express train between Patliputra (Patna) and Gorakhpur via Muzaffarpur and Bettiah during his visit to Bihar's Siwan district besides launching developmental projects. Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary were also present during the event.
Apart from inaugurating the new Vaishali–Deoria railway line project worth over Rs 400 crore, Modi also flaged off a state-of-the-art locomotive, built at the Marhowrah plant, for export to the Republic of Guinea. This is the first export locomotive manufactured in this factory.
About Gorakhpur-Patna Vande Bharat Express
Train number 26502/26501 Gorakhpur–Patliputra–Gorakhpur Vande Bharat Express will start its operation from June 22, Sunday. The train will run six day a week excpet Saturdays.
The 26502 Vande Bharat Express Train from Gorakhpur to Patna will leave Gorakhpur at 5:40 am and reach Patna (Patliputra) at 12:45 PM.

The 26501 Vande Bharat Express train from Patna to Gorakhpur will leave Patna 3.30 PM and reach Gorakhpur at 10.30 PM.
The Vande Bharat train will start from Gorakhpur and reach Patna via Kaptanganj, Paniyhawa, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sagauli, Bapudham Motihari, Muzaffarpur and Hajipur.
The fare will depend on the type of coach and distance travelled. For Executive Class, the fare ranges from Rs 715 to 1,820 for one person while for Chair Car Class, the prices start from Rs 380 till Rs 925 per person.
