Neb Sarai Triple Murder: Three people from a house including a man, his wife and daughter, were stabbed to death in the Neb Sarai area of South Delhi. The couple's son had gone out for a walk during the attack, police said, adding that security forces were present at the spot.

AAP national convener said the incident was "extremely painful and frightening" and accused the Centre of allowing criminals a "free hand" and failing to ensure law and order in the capital.

"Three murders in the same house in Neb Sarai…This is extremely painful and frightening. Every day, Delhiites wake up to such frightening news. Criminals have been given a free hand, law and order has collapsed. Homes are being destroyed, innocent lives are being lost. And those who are responsible are silently watching all this happen," he wrote in a post on X.

"Will the central government keep quiet like this and watch the law and order situation in Delhi collapse? Will its party still say that crime is not an issue in Delhi?" he added.

The Delhi Police operates under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.

This comes a day after a 19-year-old man was shot dead allegedly over a petty dispute between him and three other people. The deceased identified as Pankaj was fired multiple rounds by the assailants around 2.30 am on Tuesday, the police said.

Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal demanded the public to unite against rising crimes in Delhi. "Last night, a man was shot dead in Mangolpuri. Day before yesterday three murders took place in Delhi. All Delhiites must unite and raise their voice against crime. The most important thing is the safety of yourself and your family," he wrote on X.
