Nala Sopara Man Found Buried Under His Home, Wife And Neighbour Go Missing
A Nalasopara man missing for 3 weeks was found buried under his own floor. His wife and a young neighbour are also missing. Police suspect murder and are investigating the case.

A chilling case has emerged from Maharashtra's Nala Sopara, where the body of a 32-year-old man, Vijay Chauhan, was discovered buried beneath the floor of his own house. Fresh tiles had been laid over the spot, apparently to conceal the grave. Chauhan had been missing for nearly three weeks
Adding to the mystery, Chauhan's wife, 28-year-old Chaman Devi, is also missing along with their neighbour.
Mumbai Police launched a probe after Chauhan's phone remained switched off for weeks. His brothers, worried about his silence, visited his home and noticed newly installed tiles only in one corner of the floor. Chaman Devi was nowhere to be found either, raising further suspicion.
The situation took an even stranger turn when police learned that a 20-year-old neighbour of Chauhan had also disappeared around the same time. Investigators have yet to establish any link between the neighbour and the suspected murder.
According to a report by The Times of India, Chauhan's brothers live nearby and had last visited him on July 10. At the time, Chaman Devi told them Vijay had taken up work in Kurla and wouldn't be back for a while. His phone, however, remained unreachable.
On Saturday, July 18, the brothers returned to the house. Neighbours informed them that Chaman Devi hadn't been seen in days and the house was locked. When the brothers entered, they found it empty. Growing suspicious, they alerted police, who later unearthed Chauhan's body from beneath the tiled floor.
Police are now searching for both Chaman Devi and the missing neighbour, trying to piece together what exactly happened and why.
