Mumbai: 3 Killed As Fire Breaks Out In Residential Building In Andheri
A fire in a Mumbai apartment building killed three people on Wednesday morning.
Three people were killed after a fire broke out in a residential flat in Mumbai's Andheri West area on Wednesday. The incident occurred around 8 am at Lokhandwala complex in Andheri West.
Fire engines were rushed as a blaze erupted on the 10th floor of the 14-storey Riya Palace building.
Three persons injured in the incident were taken to Cooper Hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, a civic official said, reported PTI. The deceased have been identified as Chandraprakash Soni (74), Kanta Soni (74) and Pelubeta (42), as per civic officials.

According to fire brigade officials, the personnel were able to control the flame at around 9 am adding that the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
As per locals, Soni owned a shipping company named Avalon in Lokhandwala's RNA Shopping Complex, reported the Times of India.
