Cylinder Blast Sparks Fire At Mahim Store; One Dead, Several Injured

A fire broke out at Makhdoom Food Store, located next to Makhdum Shah Dargah on Cadel Road in Mahim (West), Mumbai, on June 13, reportedly triggered by a cylinder explosion. According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB), the blaze was restricted to the store and was fully doused by 6:40 PM. Eight individuals sustained injuries and were taken to Sion Hospital. Dr. Chaitanya Atre, CMO, confirmed that 38-year-old Noor Alam was declared brought dead, while the others are currently receiving treatment, as per the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
