Two Coaches Of Empty Local Train Derail In Mumbai

A similar incident was reported on October 13 where two coaches of an empty local train derailed amid entering a car shed from  Mumbai Central, disrupting operations on the Western Railway on Sunday, officials reported. No injuries were found during the incident, as the train was empty when it derailed at around 12:10 pm, Chief public relations officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek stated.

Vineet Abhishek also stated that the derailment has severely affected the suburban services, blocking the slow track towards Dadar. "The slow track towards Dadar between Churchgate and Mumbai Central is blocked. However, trains are being diverted to the fast line between these two stations to ensure continued operations," news agency PTI quoted the official as saying.
