The autopsy report reveals Saurabh was stabbed three times in the heart before his body was cut into pieces and sealed in cement. Police to take accused Muskan and Sahil into remand for further probe. The murder case of Saurabh Rastogi is getting more complicated, with new details emerging every day. The accused, Muskan—Saurabh's wife—and her lover, Sahil Shukla, had been plotting the murder for months. After two failed attempts, they finally succeeded on March 4.

Both were caught by the police and confessed to their crime. They revealed that they had been planning to kill Saurabh for a long time. The case took a shocking turn when it was discovered that after murdering Saurabh, the accused chopped his body into pieces, stuffed it into a drum, and sealed it with cement. A key revelation from the autopsy report states that Saurabh was stabbed multiple times in the heart.

“The first stab with the knife was on Saurabh's heart, followed by a total of three continuous stabs to his heart. According to the post-mortem report, Saurabh died due to multiple stab wounds. The mystery behind the body being dismembered after the murder will also be revealed. The police will soon take the accused, Muskan and Sahil, into remand,” said SP City Ayush Vikram Singh.

Dead Mother’s Fake Snapchat IDs Trick Sahil

The case is even more twisted because Muskan manipulated Sahil into killing her husband. Sahil was deeply into dark magic and superstitions, and Muskan took advantage of this. She convinced Sahil that his dead mother wanted to communicate with him. “Muskaan is a good girl. You will be happy with her,” Sahil received the message from the fake Snapchat ID.   "Muskan created a fake Snapchat ID in the name of her brother and then told her lover, Sahil, that his dead mother had appeared and was connecting via her brother's ID," SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said. 

Singh said that Muskan told Sahil that his dead mother wanted Saurabh to be killed. The police are investigating this claim further. Muskan tricked Sahil into believing that his mother was talking to him, said the SP.

The Body Was Approximately 12 Days Old

In an interview to IANS, SP Ayush Vikram Singh said, "The post-mortem report has been received. As per doctors, three stab wounds were found below the left chest nipple, inflicted with a knife. Injuries were also observed on the neck and both wrists. The cause of death has been determined as antemortem injuries leading to shock and hemorrhage. The body was approximately 12 days old, and natural decomposition was noted. Due to exposure to cement, the clothes were damaged. All available facts and evidence are being thoroughly examined and will be included in the investigation..."

Strange Tantric Symbols

Authorities were shocked by the condition of Sahil's house, especially the walls. According to reports, the walls had pictures of Lord Shiva, strange tantric symbols in red and black, and creepy sentences written in English. Muskan and Sahil killed Saurabh, who worked in the merchant navy. They cut his body into pieces and put the remains in a drum, sealing it with cement. After the murder, they went on a vacation to Himachal Pradesh.
