Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra was seen dancing with her husband, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader Pinaki Misra, during the wedding celebration in Germany. 

A video, that has surfaced after the couple’s low-key wedding on May 30, shows the newly wed couple dancing to the tune of Bollywood classic 'Raat Ke Humsafar'.

In the video, the couple is seen swaying to the classic Bollywood track dressed in matching peach outfits during their wedding celebrations.

The wedding, much like the couple’s relationship, was kept under tight wraps, with no official confirmation or party acknowledgement.

Shortly after the news of her marriage emerged, Mahua Moitra shared a picture with her husband in a post on X and wrote: "Thank you everyone, for the love and good wishes!! So grateful."

Moitra, who represents Krishnagar in West Bengal, was previously married to Danish financier Lars Brorson. She later entered a relationship with lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai, whom she famously referred to as a "jilted ex" amid a public fallout.

Mahua Moitra, 50, is an investment banker-turned-politician. She is an MP from Krishnanagar in West Bengal for the second term and has also served a term as a member of the Legislative Assembly in the state. Moitra was earlier married to Danish financier Lars Brorson.

The TMC MP is known for her sharp attacks on the BJP, and was embroiled in a controversy in 2023 following allegations of taking "cash" and "gifts" for asking questions in Lok Sabha. An inquiry was initiated against her by the Lok Sabha after BJP MP Nishikant Dubey filed a complaint, citing a letter he received from advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai, who is Moitra's former partner.
