'Kejriwal Not Going To Rajya Sabha': AAP Sources Reject Reports Of Him Replacing Sanjeev Arora

Sanjeev Arora has decided to contest Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll.

Aam Aadmi Party sources have rejected the media reports of former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal entering Rajya Sabha by replacing AAP MP Sanjeev Arora. Arora may vacate the seat as he has decided to contest the Ludhiana West Assembly bypoll.

The discussions reportedly gained momentum following Kejriwal’s meeting with Punjab MLAs and the state government in Delhi on 11 February. While AAP MLAs denied any internal rift, speculation emerged that Kejriwal could take on a more significant role in Punjab, possibly contesting from the Ludhiana Assembly seat.

However, AAP's Punjab leaders have outrightly rejected these claims.

Kejriwal lost the New Delhi Assembly seat to BJP's Parvesh Verma.
