Delhi Man Shares Video Of Garbage And Cows On Road, Says Nobody Took Action

The man spoke about how hard residents work to keep the area clean but there are piles of garbage just outside the colony.

A video has emerged on social media, in which a man talks about the garbage strewn outside the colony and a school in south Delhi's Kalkaji Extension.

"Look at these flats. Residents have worked hard to maintain cleanliness," a local resident said in a video posted on X. As he pans the camera, he adds, "However, this is the condition on the other side of the wall," showing the piles of garbage and cattle in the frame. He said that it was the same mess across the entire lane.

"These cattle will suddenly get up and come on the road, leading to accidents, which happen everyday”. The man said that they have tried complaining to every authority yet nobody has taken any action.  They seldom see some authority cleaning up but it comes out to the same state.

In the video, the pile of garbage can be seen on the right at the wall of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar School, in the area.

According to an NDTV report, Harjinder Singh Harry, the general secretary of the residents' welfare association, remarked that the least the leaders could do is clean up the area ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections due early next year.

As per the report, the garbage dumped near the gate of Pocket A3 has sparked tensions between residents and outsiders. Residents express frustration over repeatedly cleaning the area, only for it to be treated as a dump yard by outsiders. Additionally, a large commercial unit across the gate frequently brings in trucks, causing daily obstructions to residents' vehicles.

This comes after a man was attacked by a stray bull outside a school while he went there to bring his elder son home. The man, Subhash Kumar Jha was attacked by the bull outside the St. George School in Delhi's Kalkaji extension.

Jha was repeatedly kicked and stomped by the stray cattle as his son screamed for help. Some passersby, who came to the man's aid, rushed him to Batra Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
