'If RSS, BJP, Bajarang Dal...': Jharkhand Man's X Post After Pahalgam Attack Lands Him In Jail

The Pahalgam attack is the deadliest in the Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019.

A man from Jharkhand's Bokaro district has been arrested for an objectionable social media post after the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. The man thanked Pakistan for the terror attack that claimed 26 lives.

The man, whose social media bio describes him as an Islamic lawyer and a "bold orator", posted, "Thank You Pakistan. Thank You, Lashkar-e-Taiba. May Allah bless you always. Amen Amen. We will be more happy if RSS, BJP, Bajarang Dal and the media are targeted."

The mastermind of the attack is reported to be Lashkar-e-Taiba's deputy chief, Saifullah Khalid, also known as Saifullah Kasuri. Kasuri is considered a close associate of Hafiz Saeed, one of India's most wanted enemies. His name has been associated with several major terror attacks in India.

The attack, which is the deadliest in the Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019, has shaken the nation.
