'How Will You Feel?': Chhagan Bhujbal, Denied Cabinet Berth, Accepts Being Upset With Mahayuti Govt
Earlier, reports claimed that Bhujbal was planning to switch over to the BJP. However, he refused to comment and said he had already spoken his mind on the issue
Senior NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal, who is sulking over not being included in the new Maharashtra government, has talked about being upset due to the Mahayuti alliance's decision for the first time.
"If you are performing well at your job and still lose it, how will you feel, will you not get angry? Will you go around laughing?" he told reporters. On being asked if Dhananjay Munde would lose the cabinet berth, Bhubal said, "I will never wish for somebody to lose their post."

Earlier, reports claimed that Bhujbal was planning to switch over to the BJP. However, he refused to comment and said he had already spoken his mind on the issue of him being ignored in the ministry expansion.
The NCP leader, who represents the Yevla constituency in Nashik district, did not attend the winter session of the state legislature. He left for Nashik on the first day of the session, a day after 39 Mahayuti MLAs took oath as ministers. The Mahayuti, comprising the BJP, Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar's NCP, won 230 of the 288 seats in the state assembly polls held last month.
Bhujbal's Supporters Created Ruckus
Bhujbal's supporters created a ruckus as they burnt tyres outside the NCP office in Nashik after he was not included in the cabinet. Deputy Chief Minister and NCP supremo Ajit Pawar had declined to comment on it and said, "Everybody wants to become a minister and deserves an opportunity, but the ministerial berths are limited."
"We have decided that during the five-year tenure of this government, we will give an opportunity to others also for two-and-a-half years, which means many will get a chance to become (cabinet) ministers and state ministers. Accordingly, many districts and regions will get representation," Pawar had said.
NCP's Dilip Walse Patil and BJP's Sudhir Mungantiwar were other prominent leaders who were left out of the ministry.
