Gurugram Man Points Gun At 12-Yr-Old Boy For Fighting With Son While Playing: WATCH
The incident took place at the Lagoon Apartment in DLF Phase 3 area on Tuesday, November 19, when the two boys suddenly got into a fight while playing football.
A mere altercation between two children while playing at the park of a popular housing society in Gurugram took a shocking turn when one of the kids' father showed up with a gun and pulled it on the other child who was fighting with his son. A probe into the incident is underway.
The mishap was fortunately averted after the accused's wife rushed to the spot to stop him. The incident was captured on the CCTV installed in the housing society.
The accused, Prateek Sachdeva, a 35-year-old liquor businessman was arrested after the victim's family registered a complaint against him. However, he was later released on bail. His licensed revolver has been seized by the police, news agency PTI reported.

In his complaint, the victim's father, Karan Lohia, alleged that his 12-year-old was playing with the son of the accused. After the fight, Sachdeva's son ran back to his house to complain about it to his parents. This enraged the businessman, following which he returned with a gun to confront the 12-year-old child.
The CCTV footage shows Sachdeva pointing the gun at the victim, while his wife rushes to intervene and pushes him away from the spot.

In his complaint, Lohia alleged that his wife witnessed the entire incident from the balcony of their house on the sixth floor, screaming and begging the man to not hurt their son. The victim's father stated that the incident has affected the minor so much that he is now afraid to return to the park, , NDTV reported.
Based on Lohia's complaint an FIR under under various provisions of the Arms Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita was filed against Sachdeva. But he was later granted bail.
"We arrested the accused liquor businessman and seized his licensed revolver. He was released on bail after he joined the investigation," a police officer told PTI.
