Fire Breaks Out In Mumbai's Marol Area Due To Gas Pipeline Leak; 3 Injured, Vehicles Gutted
The fire erupted at around 12:35 AM in a heavily leaking supply pipeline of the Mahanagar Gas Limited, passing through a road at Sher-E-Punjab society near a gurdwara in Andheri (East).

A fire broke out in Mumbai in the wee hours of Sunday after a leaking gas pipeline passing through the middle of the road in Marol area caught fire. As many as three people were injured in the fire and three vehicles were reduced to ashes in the blaze.
The fire erupted at around 12:35 AM in a heavily leaking supply pipeline of the Mahanagar Gas Limited, passing through a road at Sher-E-Punjab society near a gurdwara at Takshila in Andheri (East) area, news agency PTI reported citing a fire official.
"It was a level-one fire which was confined to two moving vehicles," he said.

Injured Admitted To Trauma Centre, Blaze Extinguished
Those injured in the fire have beenidentified as a 21-year-old two-wheeler rider Arvindkumar Kaithal, who has suffered 30 to 40 per cent burns, and another biker, Aman Harishankar Saroj (22), who has sustained 40 to 50 per cent burn injuries. An auto-rickshaw driver Suresh Kailas Gupta (52) has suffered 20 per cent burns, PTI reported.
A car, rickshaw, and a bike were gutted after the fire broke out.

The three persons were rushed to the Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Care Centre in Jogeshwari, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
ADFO SK Sawant said: "We received the fire information at around 12:30 AM. The incident took place where the BMC work was underway. We have received the first information that three people have been injured and sent for treatment."
After the call was received, a water tanker, a fire engine, and other assistance were rushed to the spot to douse the blaze, which was extinguished by 1:34 AM.
