Rain Lashes Delhi As Temperature Drops To 10°C, Cold Wave Intensifies

Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius, 2.7 notches above the normal for this time of the year.

Rains lashed parts of the national capital as cold wave conditions persisted on Monday. Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius, 2.7 notches above the normal for this time of the year, at 8.30 am. The dense fog, which reduced morning visibility to zero on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, thinned out today.

The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are expected to be around 18 degrees Celsius and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.

At 5.30 am, the visibility at Safdarjung and Palam was 300 metres. The weather department has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain throughout the day. It has issued a 'yellow' warning for dense fog.
