A fire erupted at Bhagirath Palace Market in Chandni Chowk, Delhi, on Thursday afternoon, said officials. After receiving information about the incident, eight tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flame, according to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).

However, no casualties or injuries have been reported during the incident so far. The reason for the fire is yet to be ascertained, and further information about the incident is awaited, according to the ANI.

A massive fire also erupted on the premises of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday. The exact cause of the blaze remains unknown at this stage. Firefighting efforts are currently in progress, and additional information is awaited.

Massive Fire In Delhi's Kirti Nagar

Similarly, on Wednesday, a fire erupted at the timber market in Delhi's Kirti Nagar, prompting the dispatch of ten fire tenders to the scene, officials said.

The Delhi Fire Services Department stated that the blaze originated in a furniture unit within the market. The emergency call was received around 12:22 PM, and ten fire engines were sent to tackle the flames.

Authorities confirmed that there were no reported casualties, and the fire was successfully brought under control.

In a similar incident, a massive fire erupted on the second floor of the Lokbandhu Hospital in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, late evening on Monday (April 14). Firefighting teams quickly rushed to the scene to douse the flames, while efforts to evacuate patients from the hospital are currently underway.
