Chaos Ensues At Congress’s Patna HQ After Rahul Gandhi’s Visit, ‘BJP Agent’ Ousted — Video

After Rahul Gandhi's departure from the Bihar Congress headquarters, chaos ensued when a man supporting the Waqf Bill was accused of being a BJP agent and forcibly removed.

Chaos erupted at the Bihar headquarters of the Congress shortly after party leader Rahul Gandhi departed, following a meeting with state leaders ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

Rahul Gandhi arrived at the historical Sadaqat Ashram on Monday afternoon, wrapping up his day-long tour of the state, which included a march at Begusarai and a symposium in Patna, according to a report by news agency PTI.

A short video shared by the state Congress unit showed enthusiastic party workers welcoming the Lok Sabha Opposition leader with chants of "dekho dekho sher aaya" (look, here comes the lion). Gandhi often refers to his dedicated workers as 'babbar sher'—a title he reserves for those challenging the BJP both at state and national levels.

Congress Members Accuse The Man As 'BJP Agent'

Following the departure of Gandhi after spending half an hour at the venue, a young man holding a pamphlet supporting the Wakf Bill drew media attention. As soon as party workers realised the man who disclosed his identity as "Ram Babu Yadav, wasn’t affiliated with Congress.

Accusing him of being a "BJP agent paid to infiltrate," Congress members forcibly removed Yadav from the premises.

When asked about the incident, senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP Akhilesh Prasad Singh avoided commenting, claiming he was late for a flight. As he headed for his car, a scuffle between two Congress supporters blocked his path. Singh intervened by slapping one of them before driving off.

Later, one of the people involved in the altercation said, "I am a Congress supporter by birth. I am a Panchayat member. The one who was trading blows with me is an ex-MLA who is actually a BJP agent".
