Cab Driver Arrested For Molesting 14-Year-Old Girl In Mumbai

A cab driver in Mumbai's Dadar area has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl. The incident came to light after the minor's family filed a complaint with the Dadar police, leading to the driver's arrest.
According to police reports, the girl, a resident of Powai, had booked the cab around 4:30 PM to return home from her school in Prabhadevi. However, instead of following the designated route, the driver, identified as Shreyansh, allegedly diverted the vehicle towards a deserted stretch along the Eastern Express Highway, where the molestation occurred.
The complaint states that instead of taking her to her home in Powai, the driver took her towards a secluded spot on the Eastern Express Highway and molested her there.
After reaching home, the minor narrated the entire incident to her father, following which he immediately filed a complaint at the Dadar police station.
The police took swift action and arrested the accused driver, Shreyansh, and are conducting further investigation into the matter
