BSP Supremo Mayawati Removes Anand Kumar From National Coordinator's Post

BSP chief Mayawati has removed Anand Kumar (her brother) as national coordinator, and Randhir Beniwal is appointed as the new national coordinator.

BSP chief Mayawati has removed his brother, Anand Kumar, from the post of national coordinator. A few days back, he was appointed as the national coordinator, after removing Akash Anand (Mayawati's nephew).

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mayawati wrote, "BSP National Vice President Shri Anand Kumar, who has been working with selfless service and dedication for a long time and who was also recently made the National Coordinator, has expressed his desire to work on one post in the interest of the party and the movement, which is welcomed."

She added, "In such a situation, Shri Anand Kumar will continue to perform his responsibilities as before under my direct guidance while being the BSP National Vice President. And now in his place, Shri Randhir Beniwal, a resident of Saharanpur district of UP has been given the new responsibility of National Coordinator."

"Thus, now Shri Ramji Gautam, Rajya Sabha MP and Shri Randhir Beniwal, both as BSP National Coordinators, will directly handle the responsibilities of different states of the country under my guidance. The party hopes that these people will work with full honesty and integrity", she further said.

Randhir Beniwal Appointed As National Coordinator

Mayawati announced that Randhir Beniwal, a resident of Saharanpur district of UP, has been given the new responsibility for the post.

Nephew Akash Expelled

Mayawati on Monday expelled Akash Anand from all key party positions. She said that a meeting of the party leaders were held on Sunday where Akash Anand was relieved of all his responsibilities due to the influence of his father-in-law, Ashok Siddharth, over him.

Mayawati said that Akash Anand had the opportunity to show maturity and remorse after his removal, but instead, his response reflected arrogance, selfishness, and a lack of political discipline.

Keeping with the tradition of discipline set by Kanshi Ram, Akash Anand has been expelled from the party like his father-in-law for the benefit of the BSP, the party supremo added.
