Bihar: 15-Year-Old Girl Gangraped In Posh Patna Locality

A case of gang rape of a 15-year-old girl has come to light from Patna, the capital of Bihar. A group of friends allegedly committed the crime at an apartment on Friday, 1 November, and left the girl in a critical state. Currently, she is undergoing treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital. The police are continuously conducting raids to arrest the main accused. The victim's mother is also allegedly involved in the case. The incident is said to have taken place at a posh residential locality in Rajiv Nagar, Patna. 

After getting information about the crime, a team from the Rajiv Nagar police station rushed to the spot. A forensic team also reached the spot to investigate the case. After the gang rape, two youths admitted the minor to a hospital in the Jagdev Path area in a serious condition. Two women were also present at the time.

Despite her critical condition, the girl managed to tell the police that her mother had sent her to a young man in AG Colony, Patna. Her mother had forcibly sent her with some money to "please" a young man. Once there, five men forced themselves on her. She was then referred to Patna Medical College Hospital due to her condition. After the incident, the police have taken four people into custody and are interrogating them.

DSP Dinesh Kumar Pandey said the case came to the fore when the girl was taken to a private hospital for treatment after being raped. The private hospital informed the Shastri Nagar police station about the girl's condition. After that, Shastri Nagar police station informed Rajiv Nagar police station, under whose jurisdiction the alleged incident took place.
