Bengaluru: B.Com Student Partying At Farmhouse Killed, Female Friends Filmed In Swimming Pool

A 21-year-old college student was killed after he was allegedly attacked with a wooden log by three men at a farmhouse on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The B.Com student, identified as Punith, had gone to the farmhouse along with his seven friends, including two women, in the Chikkenahalli area, PTI reported. The three accused men reached the farmhouse at night and started abusing Punith and his friends.
They also filmed his female friends who were in the swimming pool. When Punith tried to stop them, they attacked him with a wooden log, injuring him on his head. Punith was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries four days later. Punith's friend too had suffered minor injuries in the incident.
"We have registered a case of murder and arrested the three accused involved in the incident," police said.
Bengaluru Man Attacked By Goons On Busy Road
A man has claimed that he was attacked by a group of goons in the middle of a busy road in Bengaluru. He shared videos and pictures of the incident. The man named Deven Mehta shared that the goons not only attacked his car but also threatened him and a woman inside his car.
"My car was attacked by goons on crowded Bangalore streets at 7 pm while traffic police watched them break glasses, throw stones, and threaten us at Kudlu, despite a woman in the car," he wrote.
He also alleged that a Bengaluru traffic police official was stationed on the road but he did not intervene to stop the assault. The Bengaluru City Police’s social media handle sought further details about the area along with his contact number to take action. "We have informed concerned police officers for necessary action," it added.
