After 'House Arrest' Row, Actor Ajaz Khan Booked For Rape By Mumbai Police
A female actor has accused actor Ajaz Khan of rape on the pretext of marriage and an FIR has been lodged by Mumbai police on her complaint.

Actor Ajaz Khan has been booked for rape by the Mumbai police after a complaint by a female actor who accused him of sexually assaulting her on the pretext of marriage and promising acting roles.
The case has been registered at Mumbai's Charkop police station under multiple section of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, reported IANS.
As per aCharkop police official, the 30-year-old woman recently filed a complaint alleging that Khan raped her at multiple locations with the promise that he would help get film roles.
The development comes amid ongoing controversy over obscene content on his web show 'House Arrest', streamed on the Ullu app.
The clips from the show which went viral show Khan putting pressure on contestants, including women, to act out intimate situations. He was also heard asking vulgar questions to the participants.
On Friday, he was booked in an FIR over the obscene content on the web show, hosted by Khan.
The case was lodged by Mumbai police based on a complaint by Gautam Ravriya, a right-wing activist. Along with Khan, show's producer Rajkumar Pandey and other persons from Ullu app were booked in the FIR, as per the official of Amboli police station.
The viral clips drew flak from various quarters, with the National Commission of Women summoning actor Ajaz Khan and Ullu App CEO Vibhu Agarwal.
Maharashtra BJP MLC Chitra Wagh called for an immediate ban on the show, alleging its content is obscene and harmful to society, especially to children. She also urged the IT minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, to take strict action against mobile applications that promote such content.
