Founder Of Milagrow Robots, Rajeev Karwal Passes Away Due To Covid-19
After being in ventilator support for almost a week, Rajeev Karwal founder and CEO of Milagrow Robots passed away on Wednesday morning.
New Delhi: Rajeev Karwal, founder and CEO of Milagrow Robots passed away due to Covid complications on Wednesday morning. Last year, his company launched humanoid robots to help doctors while battling Covid.
He was on ventilator support for almost a week reported India Today.

Karwal is know for his contribution to the electronics and technology space in India. Of the 4 humanoids launched last year, 'RoboElf - The Service Assistant' was deployed at the AIIMS, New Delhi and Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai. The robot has a business management system and it can also collect and manage collected data from each robot so the user can better run their businesses.
His career that spanned over 3 decades he worked with LG, ONIDA, Philips and Electrolux, where he became part of the senior management and worked in brand-building. He was known transforming LG Corp as their VP of Sales and Marketing.
Prior to setting up Milagrow in 2007, he worked as the president and CEO of Reliance Digital for a year. Milagrow was set up in 2007 for management consultancy and by 2012 the company transitioned to making robots for residential and industrial use.
During an interview with Moneycontrol in November, 2020, Karwal told, “In the last quarter, our revenue grew by 723%, year-on-year. For the full year, we expect revenues to jump five times". The growth in demand for floor cleaning robots has been increased. The overall segment sold about 10,000 units the whole of last year, Karwal said November last year.
He featured in Economic Times' Most Powerful CEOs list in 2004. He was the recipient of the 1st Most Distinguished Alumnus Award of IMT Ghaziabad. Karwal was also on the cover of Business Today in its first listing of the Top 25 Young Rising Stars of India.
