Gold Prices Advance, Silver Jumps Rs 126; Check Rates In Delhi, Mumbai & Kolkata

The price of gold in the international market today reached $ 1,711 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 25.78 per ounce.

Amid rupee depreciation, Gold prices witnessed a surge in Indian markets, on Wednesday. Gold prices rose by Rs 112 to Rs 44,286 per 10 gram in the national capital on Wednesday, according to HDFC Securities.

Gold had closed at Rs 44,174 per 10 gram in the previous trade. 

Silver also rose to Rs 126 to Rs 66,236 per kg, from Rs 66,110 per kg in the previous trade.

The price of gold in the international market today reached $ 1,711 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 25.78 per ounce.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, "Gold prices traded marginally down at COMEX (New York-based commodities exchange). The rally in equity indices and firm dollars may limit upside in precious metals for the day."
