The Supreme Court recently came down heavily on Patanjali Ayurveda over the issue of misleading claims in its advertisements. The court was also critical of the regulators’ lackadaisical attitude. Leveraging increased consumer preference for natural products, ethnocentrism, government focus on self-reliance, and the personal brand of Baba Ramdev and his political influence, Patanjali Group introduced value-for-money offerings across several product categories and has emerged as a major
