Toyota Innova Hycross Spy Image: New Generation Moves Away From Crysta Platform
Toyota Innova Hycross Leaked: The new Innova Hycross is indeed SUV-like with its design and looks along with being an MPV.
These are the first spy images of the new generation Innova Hycross which is making its debut on the 25th of this month. These images reveal that the new Innova Hycross is indeed SUV-like with its design and look along with being an MPV. The new generation Innova moves away from the earlier or the present Innova Crysta platform while the look is now much more premium.
The front end is large and broad along with a wide grille while it is almost unrecognisable as an Innova with no MPV-like styling. Lengthwise the new Innova Hycross would be around 4.7m and also would be wider than the current Crysta with a generous footprint. You can see how the new Innova now looks closer to an SUV and shares some bits design-wise with the Fortuner in terms of the headlamp design to the lower bumper. The rear too would have a change while the side shows its obvious SUV interest.
The new Hycross would be a lot more feature-packed with a larger touchscreen, panoramic sunroof and luxury captain seats along with the 360-degree camera and more. Being front-wheel drive the new Innova Hycross would have more space now while the hybrid powertrain combines the 2.0l petrol with an electric motor. Expect high fuel efficiency at around 20kmpl plus as well.
The launch of the new Innova Hycross would be at the 2023 Auto Expo after its reveal this month. The new Innova Hycrioss would be expected to sit at a higher price point now with its hybrid powertrain and more luxury features. The current Crysta will still be sold as a more affordable option along with being available for fleet buyers too. Expect more details at its 25th unveil in India event where we get to see the car in the flesh for the first time.
