The Hilux Black has an all black look with with a black exterior along with a blackened grille plus the same finish being applied to the wing mirrors and the door handles too

Toyota has launched an all black edition of the Hilux and it is priced at Rs 37.90 lakh as it is based on the top-end AT variant. The Hilux only comes with the diesel engine unlike the Fortuner and this all black trim adds to the look of the car. The Hilux Black has an all black look with with a black exterior along with a blackened grille plus the same finish being applied to the wing mirrors and the door handles too.

Even the 18-inch wheels have an all black look which further gives it a menacing stance and adds to the presence of the car. The blackened elements further extend to the skid plate and the wheel arches. The Hilux earlier also had an all black look to the cabin and that continues with the Hilux Black as well. There are no changes to the feature list as well which means most of the features are carried over from the standard Hilux.

Hence, you get dual-zone AC, rear camera, 8-inch touchscreen, 7 airbags, powered drivers seat and more. The 2.8l diesel continues to do duty and standard it gets 4x4. The Hilux is for off-road and is more of a hardcore option over the Fortuner but the all black addition is more of a cosmetic upgrade but on close look, the all black treatment adds to the appeal of this huge car and looks better over the standard colours. The paint finish is quite good and the alloys are not overdone as well. Black suits big cars and the Hilux Black edition is a no-abrainer.
