Other updates in Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition include a tweaked audio system while the dark-themed interior has tri-arrow inserts on the seats.

Tata Motors has rolled out an important update to its hot-selling Nexon and for now, it is available on the EV Max Dark edition. There are numerous changes but the biggest highlight here is the new 10.25-inch touchscreen which addresses the biggest criticism of the current Nexon. The new 10.25-inch unit by Harman gets a TFT hi-resolution display.

On using it we are happy to say that the touch response and clarity are very good and hugely changed over the current Nexon unit. The icons and the layout is simple but easy to get used to and the design is again very neat along with being classy. The slick touchscreen response is also seen. You also get voice commands in regional languages along with English and they work neatly as well.

More importantly, the rear camera display is now HD and the larger screen means the quality of the display along with its size of it is much better now. The clarity is very good and will help in parking. The themes and the icons have been changed and you now get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay too.

Other updates include a tweaked audio system while the dark-themed interior has tri-arrow inserts on the seats. There are leatherette door trims being added on while glossy Piano black inserts continue to be there along with the Jewelled gear selector.

Exterior-wise, the Dark theme continues with the Midnight black colour, Charcoal grey alloys and Dark logos. There are two variants on offer, XZ+ Lux and the XZ+ Lux with the 7.2kw wall box charger.

There are no changes in terms of dynamics or powertrain with its battery pack being a 40.5 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 453km along with 4 regen levels plus drive modes too.

The biggest update here is the new infotainment system and the larger touchscreen which now makes it one of the top ones in its class in terms of the screen size and design along with the layout.
