New Upcoming Mahindra SUVs: Thar Armada, XUV e8, And New Bolero; Check Here
Mahindra's new product line-up would be divided into 9 new ICE engined SUVs while they will also launch no less than 7 battery electric powered ones
Mahindra is revving up for an aggressive product launch strategy with no less than 16 new SUVs coming though in the next six years leading up to 2030. The new product line-up would be divided into 9 new ICE engined SUVs while they will also launch no less than 7 battery electric powered ones.
These are some major new products but first we will talk about the ICE launches which includes the much anticipated Thar 5 door or Thar Armada which would be more than just a Thar with an extra set of doors. The Thar Armada will get a more premium interior with more features including a sunroof.
The other new launches would include the new generation of the Bolero based on a new platform plus an update for the XUV700 and the Scorpio N. The XUV700 could be renamed as XUV 7XO just like the XUV 3XO while getting a serious upgrade in the years to come. As of now, the next big launch is the Thar Armada but future launches include the Scorpio N based pik-up too.
The EV portfolio will see a big change with its EV specific platform which will see flexible architecture and EV specific features too. As shown earlier, the range will also include the BE range of EVs which will be a new sub-brand as well. The electric portfolio will cover products above the XUV400 with the first two launches being Mahindra XUV.e8 and the XUV.e9 coupe.
Of course the range of BEVs also include the Thar electric as well which was shown in concept form at an event in South Africa. It is clear that Mahindra is balancing its legacy product range with new launches and expanding its EV range as well.
