Porsche will launch the new Macan electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on the 17th of this month. This is the new Macan electric SUV that sits on a bespoke architecture along with either having a single or a dual electric motor layout. We expect a RWD variant and a Turbo dual motor specification along with a 4S variant as well with dual motors.

The new Macan will come with a larger 100 kWh battery pack with a range 591km for the fastest Turbo iteration plus 600km plus for the 4S and more than 640km for the RWD single motor variant.

Based on the PPE platform it gets 800V charging. Which means the new Macan can do fast charging plus the Turbo model is very quick indeed with a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.3 seconds. The new Macan EV also gets a new styling theme and the interior is all new as well. For Porsche, the new Macan is one of their global best sellers and now India finally gets the new generation version in an EV avatar.

The interior gets a curved cluster, touchscreen and there would be even a passenger touchscreen on offer. Being based on an EV architecture, it is also having more space along with a longer wheelbase now plus more storage room too. Porsche has the Cayenne SUV which traditionally has been its best seller in India while the new Macan in its electric form is a smaller and sportier SUV.
