While bookings have started, the launch of the car will take place towards the end of this month. We expect the new Baleno to be launched around the 23rd of this month.

To be sold via Nexa dealerships, the new Baleno would also get an all-new interior with a bigger touchscreen plus new features like the earlier mentioned heads-up display. The HUD will display the speedometer, climate control, etc while being a feature seen on most luxury cars along with being a segment-first feature.

The infotainment system will also get wireless smartphone connectivity, six airbags, rearview camera, cruise control, and more.

The 1.2l petrol will get a mild-hybrid feature with start/stop function while the other standard 1.2l petrol will be paired to an AMT gearbox instead of a CVT found with the current Baleno. A 5-speed manual would be standard for all versions.
