Are Bookings For The New 2024 Maruti Swift Open Unofficially?

The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most talked about car launches while it will get a new Z Series 1.2l three cylinder petrol engine with a mild hybrid system

It seems a few Maruti Suzuki Arena dealers have started taking bookings for the new Swift unofficially with the car being due for its official launch next month. The new generation Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most talked about car launches while it will get a new Z Series 1.2l three cylinder petrol engine with a mild hybrid system.

This will bring in more efficiency as well which has been key to its popularity. In terms of bookings, these are unofficial bookings as Maruti Suzuki has not officially revealed any details regarding the Swift launch or any details regarding the bookings hence only a few dealers are taking unofficial bookings.

The new generation Swift has a more evolutionary design language but gets some key design changes over the earlier Swift. One of the key details being the change of the position of the rear door handles while it will get a wider look along with new alloy wheels. The new Swift will also have full LED lights along with new features like a larger touchscreen plus a 360 degree camera although the exact India spec version features are not yet revealed.

The interior design of the new Swift is expected to be similar to the Fronx and Baleno as well. Hence, unlike the current Swift, some of the switchgear would be changed while there would be a lighter interior colour on offer too. The variant nomenclature of the new Swift will most likely continue like the old one too but we expect more safety features and more standard equipment on offer. Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Swift first and then later will launch the new Dzire compact sedan with a clear differentiation in terms of features there as well. We will have more details regarding the new Swift leading up to its launch next month.
