Volkswagen has launched a new black themed Taigun GT with a new look exterior and interior with black design details. This new variant was shown at their brand press conference sometime back and now prices have been revealed.
Here, the Taigun GT Line and GT Plus Sport remove chrome and goes for an all black look which means you get new 17 inch black alloys, black LED headlamps/black grille, black coloured Taigun letters on the boot lid, black coloured roof rails, black ORVMs, dark chrome door handles and more.
Inside, the Taigun GT Line gets a black coloured headliner and a dark coloured interior. Elsewhere there is black grab handles, black sun visor and more. There is also crystal grey stitching on the steering wheel, armrest, seat covers. The GT Plus Sport meanwhile gets red coloured stitching on the steering wheel and red stitching on the front centre armrest plus red ambient lighting, aluminium pedals etc.

The Taigun GT Line is also now available with a 1.0l TSI engine at a price of Rs 14.08 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 6-speed Manual transmission and at Rs 15.63 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 6-speed Automatic transmission.
The other new variant is the Taigun GT Plus Sport (1.5l TSI EVO engine), which comes at a price of Rs 18.53 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 6-speed Manual transmission and Rs 19.73 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 7- speed DSG transmission.
Both the Taigun GT Line and Taigun GT Plus Sport form the new ‘Sport’ line which means there are three trims- Chrome, Edge and Sport.
