Mahindra Vision T and S Are Thar And Scorpio N EVs

The Vision T concept teased by Mahindra  seems to be in that direction and keeps the chunky but straight lines while it will have very little in common with the current Thar

The Thar.e will gain a more production ready concept avatar at the Mahindra showcase on the 15th of August. The Thar.e concept was first shown as a prototype model way back at its unveil in South Africa while the latest teasers show a progression for this concept. The electric Thar would be a radical change for the model and won't be the current Thar being modified to fit a battery. The Thar electric as seen here will have a different and a futuristic design while the 15th August event will showcase an evolution of that. The Thar Electric will have the same born electric platform as the XEV and the BE while it would be modified to keep the offroad legacy of the Thar name intact. The Vision T concept teased by Mahindra  seems to be in that direction and keeps the chunky but straight lines while it will have very little in common with the current Thar. It could have a dual motor version which will bring AWD and plenty of ground clearance too.

The other unveil would be the electric version of the Scorpio N which is the Vision S as it reimagines the Scorpio N in an EV avatar. It will also have a futuristic look to it and will gain a dual motor version too.

On 15th August, Mahindra will showcase these two and other new concepts being based on its new platform supporting ICE as well as EV powertrains. Of all the born electric cars, the Thar electric would be one of the highlights but will be coming much later as for now it will be inching closer to production with a new concept shown a few days from now.
