Special Editions are the order of the day with the festive season upon us. Mahindra for example has unveiled a Classic Boss Edition of the Scorpio Classic with some cosmetic tweaks. It also comes with some dealer-fitted accessories. Notably from the outside, the Scorpio Classic Bold edition gets a dark chrome grille plus the headlamps have a dark grey finish. Elsewhere, the Scorpio Classic Bold edition has black roof rails, door handles, and rear quarter glass. The blackened effect also stretches to the ORVMs with a dark chrome finish with some faux carbon fibre effect as well.

There are also rain visors and a rear guard with the same black look. The interiors of the Scorpio Classic Bold edition have black seats but the accessories also add in a comfort kit with cushions and neck pillows. There are also features like a rear camera. There is no change in terms of the powertrains with the same 2.2l diesel engine with 130odd bhp along with a six-speed manual only. There is no 4x4 option with the Scorpio Classic Bold edition.
The all-black look has been popular with SUVs off late and the Scorpio Classic Bold edition with this look adds a sense of sportiness. This special edition is a dealer-level fitment with some accessories and prices have yet to be revealed. The Scorpio Classic is a rugged SUV and is the last-generation Scorpio which was reborn with a new avatar while keeping its old fan base happy.
