The Alcazar as you can see looks different from the Creta with a different front end and rear styling
Hyundai has just revealed the new Alcazar based on the new Creta which was revealed earlier in the year. This is the three row version of the Creta and the new Alcazar will be launched on the 9th of September.
The Alcazar as you can see looks different from the Creta with a different front end and rear styling. The new Alcazar has a revamped bumper, hood, skid plate and grille. The H shaped DRls and the Quad beam LEDs are similar to the standard Creta. The rear meanwhile has new connected taillamps and a new bumper.
There would be 18inch alloys too. Hyundai has revealed that the new Alcazar will come in 6 and 7 seater forms. We expect more features in the new Alcazar now over the earlier one while it will carry forward some like the panoramic sunroof and more. In terms of engine options, the Alcazar will come with a 1.5l turbo petrol with either a 6-speed manual or a DCT while there would be a 1.5l diesel too with a torque converter and a manual transmission.
This is unique since the standard Creta does not have a manual turbo petrol option. The bookings for the new Alcazar are open from Rs 25,000. Other details include new 9 color options including the new Robust Emerald Matte. There would also be four variants – Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. The Alcazar would be competing with other three row SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700 and more.
