First Xiaomi Electric Car SU7 Runs On HyperOS?

When the Xioami SU7 hits the market, it will be available with two motor options to choose from, churning out a total output ranging from 299 hp to 700 hp.

The first electric car by Xiaomi has been revealed and it is a swoopy electric sedan called the SU7. It is a large electric sedan with aerodynamic styling to enhance range while also being similar in ethos to the Porsche Panamera four door coupe. It is a fairly long car with dimensions which read as length of 4,997 mm, width of 1,963 mm and a height of 1,440 mm. There would be two versions namely with a single motor or a dual motor with all wheel drive on offer. The single motor version develops 299 hp while the dual motor develops near 700 hp.

While the range is yet to be confirmed, the SU7 will get two battery packs namely with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack from BYD on the lower spec trims and a larger CATL battery pack on the top-end version. Not much is known about the interior but it could run on the HyperOS which is the new Xiaomi operating system and it includes AI among other features. It would also offer Lidar and also offer customisations plus the interior would be Tesla like with a large screen and minimal controls.

Unveiled in China, the production of the all-electric Xioami SU7 is expected to start from December. The company has been working on its first electric car and has been in the works for more than two years. It seems that the looks are a mix between a Tesla and also having a hint of McLaren with the slim headlamps while the curved shape is of course to get more range. There would be three versions of the SU7 available for buyers to choose from when its hits the markets named as the SU7, SU7 Pro and SU7 Max. The launch is early next year but it is unclear if it ever comes to India.
