Delhi Odd-even has again resurfaced and like before, EVs are exempt from this rule which means EV owners would be able to drive them throughout the week. Here are affordable EVs for you to consider if you are looking at buying one.

Tata Tiago EV

The Tiago EV remains one of the most popular EVs and is also one of the most affordable ones to buy. There are two versions of the Tiago EV on offer with a 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery pack. Range on offer is 250km and 315 Km. It is also capable of fast charging where you can top up the battery in just 57 minutes. The Tiago EV is also fairly well equipped and comes with features like automatic climate control, auto headlamps, connected car tech, and regen braking etc. Prices start at Rs 8.69 lakh.

MG Comet

The Comet is the most affordable EV in India and also the smallest car in India. The Comet with a 17.3kWh battery pack which has a claimed range of 230km. With a length of 2,974mm, it is small and compact but comes with features like twin 10.25-inch screens, connected car tech, rear camera, and more. It also does not have any start-stop button one just needs to get in and the car can be put into D mode right away. With a 3.3kW charger, it will take roughly 7 hours to charge the MG Comet. Prices start at Rs 8 lakh.

Citroen eC3

The eC3 is the electric version of the C3 hatchback and is a roomy hatchback with a rugged stance along with a decent range on offer. The eC3 has a 29.2kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 320km. You can use a fast charger or a regular charger. The top-spec version gets features like a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, connected car tech, and more. Like all EVs, there is regenerative braking on offer too. It is slightly on the premium side in terms of prices at starting Rs 11.6 lakh.
