Surgical strike on Pakistan peddling lies | Samvidhan Ki Shapath
In a surprise announcement, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan told a joint session of Parliament on Thursday that IAF's captured pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman will be released tomorrow as 'a gesture of peace'. This came barely an hour after Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that PM Khan is ready to talk to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to de-escalate Indo-Pak tensions. The joint session of Parliament was called to discuss the rising tensions with India. The announcement was greeted by thumping of desks by Pakistani lawmakers.
