T20 World Cup 2024: IND vs PAK Today, Will The Pitch In New York Benefit Players? | ABP News

India will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan in the 19th match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. The India vs Pakistan match will take place on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York. Rohit Sharma-led India would look to maintain their winning momentum from the tournament's opening eight-wicket victory over Ireland, while Babar Azam’s Pakistan would be eager to avoid another defeat after a shocking Super Over loss to the USA in their campaign opener. India and Pakistan will face off for the first time at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, a venue temporarily constructed for the T20 World Cup 2024 matches. Rohit Sharma's team has already played one match at this venue, defeating Ireland in the tournament's group stage opener. India bowled out Ireland for 96 and chased the target with 7.4 overs to spare. Meanwhile, Babar Azam's side played their tournament’s only fixture at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, Texas. They posted 159 runs and restricted the USA to the same score but failed to chase down 19 runs in the Super Over.
