After Witnessing My Father’s Tears, Babita Phogat Unveils Shocking Allegations Against Sister Vinesh Phogat | Sports Live

In a striking revelation, wrestler and BJP leader Babita Phogat has accused her cousin Vinesh Phogat of failing to acknowledge their father, Mahavir Phogat, who coached her throughout her wrestling journey. Babita expressed her disappointment, especially after Vinesh's exit from the finals of the women's 50 kg wrestling event at the Paris Olympics due to exceeding the weight limit. Following this, Vinesh announced her retirement and joined the Congress party. Babita highlighted that while other athletes like Manu Bhaker and Aman Sehrawat celebrated their Olympic successes with their coaches, Vinesh returned with only her coach, Deependra Hudda. She noted that Mahavir had taken on a coaching role after the death of Vinesh's father and lamented the emotional turmoil he experienced during Vinesh's Olympic setback.
